KAMBO

WHAT IS IT?

Kambo is a Spirit Medicine provided to us from the secretion of the Phyllomedusa Bicolor Frog, also known as the giant monkey tree frog, it is found throughout the Amazon river basin in South America. Kambo has been used for thousands of years throughout the tribes of the Amazon. It is known as the pharmacy of the jungle, and seeing as how some of the most medicinal plants in the world come from the Amazon rainforest that is saying a lot.

Kambo helps clear Panema, dark/stuck energy, or generational bad luck. Panema’s negative force resides in our bodies and is a result of trauma, unhealed emotions, and ancestral karma causing people to feel emotionally heavy, unbalanced, and overwhelmed, and unwell.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Kambo is non psychoactive and works to align mind, body and spirit here in the 3D plane for optimal health. Kambo comes as a dried resin on a wooden paddle that gets reactivated by your saliva, by using your saliva it immediately starts to communicate with the medicine so it knows where to go your saliva shares your essence with the medicine and begins to activate the bioactive peptides and neuropeptides that contain powerful antimicrobial, antiviral, antifungal, antibacterial, and analgesic properties.

Kambo is then applied to superficial burns on the skin known as gateways. The practitioner opens these gateways by lightly burning 2-4 points usually on the arm or ankle. By placing the prepared Kambo on your open gateways it enters your lymphatic system and continues to scan your physical and energetic bodies, Kambo always knows exactly where to go for your optimal healing. This potent process starts opening up your cells to pull and purge out toxins, trauma, and ancestral wounding allowing you to connect to your true authentic self on a deeper level.

Kambo will stay on your body for 15-20 minutes however the effects can last anywhere from 15-45 minutes. During your session it is common to feel a rush of heat pulse through your body as Kambo enters your lymphatic system. As Kambo scans your body you will start to feel the effects within 60-90 seconds. Purging is an integral part of this experience arriving in different ways including, burping, sweating, laughing, crying, swelling, shivering, vomiting, and diarrhea. It is important to note, that not everyone vomits, although it is common there are many other ways to purge.

WHAT TO DO THE DAY OF CEREMONY?

Come with an intention of what you would like to focus on.

Please arrive 12 hours after your last meal, wear comfortable clothes and a t-shirt or a tank top so we can access your arm, please bring a full change of clothes, a journal, and a pen.

Most of the time we work with the trilogy of Hape and Senanga and Kambo, Hape and Senanga help to solidify your intention and ground you into the space. Before we start your Kambo session you will be encouraged to drink 1-2L of water, DO NOT drink this before you arrive. Feel free to have herbal tea (nothing with caffeine) or some water only before the ceremony. Expect to be here for 2-3 hours, and ideally allow yourself time to rest after, we will have space for you to lie down after to rest and integrate, you may want to journal at this time, food will be provided after your session.

It is highly recommended to work with Kambo 3 times in a 28 day cycle, this allows the medicine to deeply share its benefits with you, and strongly set you on the trajectory of your new path.

SAPO

WHAT IS IT?

Used for centuries in Mesoamerica dating back from 2000 BCE in Olmec, Mayan, and Aztec cultures. Sapo comes from the secretion of the glands found on the Sonoran Desert Toad. Containing more then a dozen different tryptamine compounds, including cufotenin and 5-MeO-DMT (5-methoxy-dimethyltryptamine). Considered the strongest entheogen on the planet.

ASCENDING WITH SAPO?

The unique compound found within 5-MeO-DMT can gift the courageous voyager with experiences of unity of consciousness unlike any other. Surrendering to this medicine holds the potential to expand our knowledge of ultimate reality, restore a connection with the Divine and ground our awareness in the experience of infinity.

Often the messages received or experienced through this spiritual journey are guiding us back to the truth within us and directing us towards healing our wounds and connecting us with our higher calling.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

On average the effects of Sapo typically last between 15-45min. The medicine is administered through a glass pipe that is heated to allow for the medicine to vapourize. The vapour is inhaled through the mouth with slow, deep and long breaths. It is important to keep the medicine in your lungs for as long as possible. Within a few seconds you will feel the medicine start to work as it enters your blood stream.

Everyone’s experience is different and it is important to give yourself permission to fully surrender as sometimes fear, ego, and the resistance to releasing control can prevent you from connecting with the Spirit Molecule.

As a profound and intense entheogen, toad medicine has the therapeutic potential to treat a number of conditions such as depression, anxiety, and opioid addiction. However it should not be taken lightly, or considered as a “one-and-done” pharmaceutical or pill.

THINGS TO NOTE

Sapo can unlock stored traumatic events that have been buried deep within your consciousness in order to bring them to the surface for you to process, feel, and move that stuck energy. It is important that you disclose to your practitioner any past trauma so that they are best able to guide and support you through your process.

People dealing with severe trauma are best to experience sapo in a private one on one session. It is strongly suggested to have therapy integration in place with someone familiar with spirit or plant medicines and trauma therapy such as somatic, EMDR, or IFS training for support for any issues that may be brought to the surface.

It is strongly recommended that you experience Kambo prior to sitting with Sapo in order to clear blockages, release trauma, toxins, and panema to strengthen your alignment when experiencing Sapo.

RAPEH

WHAT IS IT?

Rapéh is a psychoactive snuff used by the Indigenous people of the Amazon and is prepared by blending roasted leaves of mapacho (variety of tobacco) with ashes of the mocambo tree bark (a member of the Cacao family) – both of which are ground to a fine powder.

This snuff is then blown into both nostrils of the recipient using either a bamboo or bone dispenser. Rapéh can cause burning sensation of the nasal passages and eyes, and can cleanse the sinuses cavities with the release of phlegm. Blood rushes to the head and visions may occur. Traditionally Rapéh was used to experience the future in these visions and communicate with the spirits of plants and animals.

SANANGA

WHAT IS IT?

From the roots and bark of Tabernaemontana undulata shrub Sananga has spiritual properties that release our blocked energies, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

The more we work with the plant, the more benefits we will start to feel from it.

Sananga can seek out the root of our blockages or diseases and begin to work with our mind body and spirit to guide us.

Sananga is administered while lying down. Once administered you will feel a burning sensation often described as lighting in the eyes. The burn can be quite intense when you first begin using the Sananga drops, but it’s important to put the drops in both eyes quickly so it can evenly balance out the energies.

Once Sananga has been administered your eyes will adjust to the burning. You will be guided to breath and focus on your breath in order to create a meditative state where you can allow this plant to work its beneficial magic.

Sananga is used to help increase your spiritual awareness and reach higher levels of consciousness.
